Finally, I was able to do and post an outfit blog but.. this one was unplanned. I brought my camera with me just in case I saw something Instagram worthy view or thing or spot etc., so there's something that I can upload on my Instagram. Anyway, I wasn't supposed to go out last Saturday, just be at home and do my pending blog post but my Dad insist. 

After going to Starbucks Araneta Center (beside SM Cubao, under Anytime Fitness), we went to 7 Eleven to buy bottled water then I saw this spot at Araneta Center that I guess I need to be there and take shot. So here it is and let me tell something about what I am wearing.

Since it was a last minute decision I don't have enough time to coordinate colors. Well, what do you do when you're in rush? Of course, wear black and white. You just can't go wrong with white shirt + black pants outfit, its like a simple math in fashion that can take you anywhere. It gives you a classic yet modern chic look that is perfect for day or night and simple enough for casual wear. My crisp white top, black yoga pants and black sling with gold detail create a clean and contemporary appearance with addition of my DIY tassel earrings and bowtie slippers for sophisticated look,  just not to end up looking like a uniform or pambahay (household outfit).   

The Lake District Tagaytay will make you feel warm and welcoming - it's home. Food and venue is perfect for any occasion from casual dine out to special events. They've got spacious area for your convenience but not enough tables for peak hours, I guess. The restaurant is not only for families but also for millennials because of their drinking lounge, built with urban-industrial interiors on the rooftop where they can experience chill vibes and scrumptious food while listening to live bands. 

This reminds me of what I usually order in Mcdo, salted caramel sundae plus fries hahaha. The Lake District version has a combination of sweet, spicy and salty of fries, drizzled with chocolate sauce made with Batangas tablea plus vanilla ice cream on the side. Okay, they break the rule here, but who said ice cream and spice blend fries are for dessert only? None right?! Because we're all guilty, it's always good anytime.

Ugh. When two of your favorites blend, the Atchara and cheese!❤ A total empanda with a twist. There's so much going on once you taste it. Crunchy, salty, cheese that melts plus the longganisa is a winner. Though it's pretty messy to it like a taco. The deep fried empanada crusts was freshly made at their kitchen. Topped with atchara, itlog na maalat and tomato salsa, recado longganisa and 2 kinds of cheese. 

When Filipino meet Korean in one dish. The Lake District Omurice is an example of fusion and creativity. Everything was perfectly cooked! Soft scrambled egg with fried onions, capers, garlic, herbs and topped with The Lake District signature tawilis sardines which truly deserves to be on top! Very tasty and brawny. I think spiced vinegar can be a perfect alternative to ketchup. Tagaytay is also known for selling the best tawilis sardines since these fish can be fished in the water like Taal Lake.    

Porchetta with Lake District Liver Sauce (Good for 3) (P400)

Don't miss out The Lake District's best seller Porchetta! This 380g rolled pork belly was stuffed with special herbs and spices then slow cooked and deep fried in enough amount of temperature. To make the dish more delicious it was served with herbed garlic confit, atchara and their signature liver sauce on the side. Experience it yourself: rice + pork belly + liver sauce and atchara on top of it= ❤ I can't put it in words so I'll leave a heart symbol na lang hehehe.

This finger-lickin' juicy 400g pork ribs is fantastic! Made with special rub, natural smoke flavor and adobo sauce. They've got the perfect texture and moisture for great smoky ribs. You just need a little effort for the meat to pull off to the bone, yes that's how tender their glazed smoky ribs! It comes up with corn on a cob with spiced honey compound butter and itlog na maalat with tomato salsa. Super love the pineapple slices marinated in rum and cinnamon! Nothing left!☺ and don't worry you won't get drunk hehehe.

Happiness on a plate indeed! I'm a seafood lover and this one is absolutely perfect! For me, it can be an appetizer or main course. This dish is a mixture of shrimps, mussels, and squid then stir fried in a lot of garlic and sweet chili sauce topped with indian mango with bagoong vinaigrette. There's a little bit of spiciness but tolerable even kids!☺

This big gorgeous rustic house is perfect for reunions, birthday celebrations or special events. Aside from that, it's also became popular location for teleseryes, movies and even photoshoots! No wonder why every area of this beautiful house is worth capture. Why did I say that? Curious? Let me give you a little tour on this stunning and luxurious house; and why is it labelled as one of the priciest unique accommodations in Tagaytay- but worth it!

The house compose of clean white walls and pieces of designer furniture collection that result to a modern rustic or more like an aesthetic minimalist design with touch of classic elements. It complements everything. The living room rank as number one on my favorites with a big window that let the sunlight in, overlooking the Taal Volcano and Taal Lake. I like the idea of stone flooring , less slippery especially after coming out from the swimming pool.  
Their dining area can seat up to 10 people or more I guess? I love their large marble dining table, it's so spacious! you can put all your favorite dish and oh, their seat covers, a perfect example of modern rustic fusion because of leather - wood - animal skin.



 Yes the bathroom in Master Suite might give you uncomfortable feeling, it's out open eh! But don't worry just ask them to turn their back or close the door hehehe.
